The middle child of Crawford, one of Canada's last remaining orthopedic shoe makers and mother Anita, police officer and tattoo artist. His parents of English, Irish, Scottish and German ancestry raised him in the beautiful small valley town of Lumsden, Sk. After graduating high school, Hicks moved out to B.C. to pursue a career in Prosthetics and Orthotics becoming the youngest certified Prosthetist in Canadian history. During this time he also won Overall Best Talent at the Canadian Model and Talent Convention. He immediately moved to Toronto to sign with a talent agency and the rest was history. Since then Eric has garnered a lot of traction in the North American market having worked alongside Jake McLaughlin and Priyanka Chopra on the hit series Quantico (2015), Miguel Gomez, Adrianna Barraza and Joaquin Cosio in The Strain (2015) and Billy Campbell and Karine Vanasse in the new hit detective series Cardinal (2017-2018) where you can catch Eric in all three seasons playing Constable Derek Fox. Notable film roles include acting alongside Canadian Film Center (CFC) alumni Kimberly Laferriere (21 Thunder) in the film White Night (2017) as well as working with Jocelyn Hudon (Ice) in their recent film The Christmas Wedding Planner (2017).
